When my video demonstrating how I removed a tick from my dog Champ went viral, thousands of people asked whether it hurt him. So I made a video to explain why it did not.

Ticks are wily creatures. One of the things they do is inject a numbing agent into the bite so you ( or in this case, my dog) won't feel it. The area remains numb the entire time the tick is feeding.

So, while you might hear a slight pop when TickEase pulls out the tick, there is no pain involved.
