About

Dan Wolff - aka Tick Man Dan is founder and president of TickEase,Inc, manufacturer of TickEase, the only patented, CDC-compliant, two-sided tweezer created expressly for removal of embedded ticks from people and pets.

A sought-after speaker, Wolff is an expert and educator on tick behavior, anatomy and life cycle, as well as how to check for and remove embedded ticks.

Wolff earned the nickname “Tick Man Dan” because he brings them everywhere he goes. In an effort to raise awareness, he wears shoes, shirts and a watch emblazoned with tick pictures. Dan even tattooed two ticks on his leg! He drives a huge tick mobile truck to public events. Even at his recent wedding, he wore a tie covered with images of ticks.

TickEase is a preferred prevention partner of the University of Rhode Island’s TickEncounter Resource Center and works closely with tickreport.com for comprehensive tick testing.

Wolff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Skidmore College and lives in Waltham, MA with his wife, two sons and two dogs.

Dan’s father, Dr Sheldon Wolff, mentored a young Dr Anthony Fauci at The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Dr Wolff was best man at Dr. Fauci’s wedding, and Dr. Fauci attended Dan’s bar mitzvah.
